The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Rypin SSA's Patryk Osielski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Krzysztof Prus in the 4th minute of play. 4 minutes into the match, Rypin SSA's goal looked a bit too open when Krzysztof Prus came free, but Patryk Osielski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Krzysztof Prus in the 5thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Patryk Osielski, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Krzysztof Pruss short, quick shot in the 17thth minute got Patryk Osielski to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After some careless play in the Rypin SSA defense, Leszek Tusk kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Patryk Osielski. The Rypin SSA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Patryk Osielski should have stopped the shot. Iwo Kuszczak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patryk Osielski having to interfere. Krzysztof Prus could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Patryk Osielski made a huge save. 31 minutes into the game, Stefan Pryputnicki recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Patryk Osielski. Stefan Pryputnicki showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 5-0. Patryk Osielski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Iwo Kuszczak went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. When Marcin Marciewicz fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rypin SSA's protests and gave Marcin Marciewicz a yellow card for diving instead. In the 37th minute, Marcin Marciewicz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Krzysztof Prus was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of GKS OLIMPIA GRUDZIĄDZ booed when Rypin SSA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Korneliusz Jajesniak didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 57th minute, Iwo Kuszczak ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Patryk Osielski was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Patryk Osielski showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Patryk Osielski came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by GKS OLIMPIA GRUDZIĄDZ's Stefan Pryputnicki. But to his dismay, Stefan Pryputnicki quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. Rypin SSA's Patryk Osielski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Krzysztof Prus in the 68th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iwo Kuszczak in the 69th minute of play forced Rypin SSA's goalkeeper Patryk Osielski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 70 minutes into the match, Rypin SSA's goal looked a bit too open when Iwo Kuszczak came free, but Patryk Osielski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rypin SSA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leszek Tusk was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 10-0.
