Cyprian Giec took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hieronim Bialakowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 11 minutes into the game, Grupa SA's Andrzej Balonek nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cyprian Giec made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Cyprian Giec showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andrzej Balonek, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. In the 19th minute, Hieronim Bialakowski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cyprian Giec took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrzej Balonek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Radomil Lamczyk fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nabyszyce SSA's protests and gave Radomil Lamczyk a yellow card for diving instead. If Hieronim Bialakowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 36 played minutes Grupa SA got a freekick which was hit by Beniamin Kordalewski. After having played for 38 minutes, Andrzej Balonek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Grupa SA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andrzej Balonek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Lucjan Gotfryd managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nabyszyce SSA's supporters rose to their feet, but Lucjan Gotfryd was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Boleslaw Merski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hieronim Bialakowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The supporters of Nabyszyce SSA booed when Grupa SA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Beniamin Kordalewski didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 56 minutes, Stasio Brack mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nabyszyce SSA and the Grupa SA players grew even worse after the yellow card. Grupa SA's Andrzej Balonek got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nabyszyce SSA's Cyprian Giec played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrzej Balonek in the 59th minute of play. If Lucjan Gotfryd had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hieronim Bialakowski got free with Cyprian Giec in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 78 minutes into the match, Nabyszyce SSA's goal looked a bit too open when Andrzej Balonek came free, but Cyprian Giec reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Nabyszyce SSA's Radomil Lamczyk got a free kick in the 78th minute. Andrzej Balonek struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Hieronim Bialakowski had several of the Nabyszyce SSA's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 93 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-2 score and a disappointed Cyprian Giec as he didn't even see the shot coming.
