After 9 played minutes Forty Piątnica got a freekick which was hit by Tanek Piszczor. Bernard Dres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Cyryl Malicki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zula Lichniak recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Forty Piątnica booed when Piwaki SSA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stasio Zuraw didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cyryl Malicki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zdzislaw Kicia, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Cyryl Malicki made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cezary Munko in the 21st minute. Cyryl Malicki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zdzislaw Kicia in the 26th minute of play. But to his dismay, Bernard Dres quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Cyryl Malicki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zdzislaw Kicia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bernard Dress short, quick shot in the 42ndth minute got Cyryl Malicki to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bernard Dres was the one to do the kick off. Cyryl Malicki stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zdzislaw Kicia's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. If Bernard Dres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cyryl Malicki stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zdzislaw Kicia's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tanek Piszczor in the 78th minute of play forced Piwaki SSA's goalkeeper Cyryl Malicki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Zdzislaw Kicia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cyryl Malicki was relentless in the 80th minute of the game.
