In the 5th minute, Tanek Pryla left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Otrocz fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 8 minutes into the match, Grudno's goal looked a bit too open when Tanek Pryla came free, but Kazimierz Mosiniak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tanek Pryla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Otrocz's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Ludomil Tscherner 28 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-1. Kazimierz Mosiniak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tanek Pryla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 34 minutes of play, Grudno's Jan Walkowski made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Stasio Wojtowicz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Eugeniusz Brytka charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eugeniusz Brytka the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Otrocz getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Eugeniusz Brytka hit a great ball. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Grudno's goalkeeper Kazimierz Mosiniak, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Otrocz's zone, Ludomil Tscherner stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stasio Wojtowicz came out of the goal and Ludomil Tscherner tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Tanek Pryla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Ludomil Tscherner made the kick off in the second half. Stasio Wojtowicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan Walkowski in the 52nd minute of play. Jan Walkowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stasio Wojtowicz having to interfere. After 55 minutes of play, Grudno's Jan Walkowski made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Stasio Wojtowicz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Kazimierz Mosiniak was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Mariusz Frodyma showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-2 in the 60 minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 64 minutes, Kazimierz Mosiniak successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Mariusz Frodyma scored 4-3 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kazimierz Mosiniak, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Otrocz's Stasio Wojtowicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ludomil Tscherner in the 77th minute of play. When Mariusz Frodyma came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Otrocz fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mariusz Frodyma couldn't finish the play. In the 81st minute Ludomil Tscherner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stasio Wojtowicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Otrocz players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Grudno.
