Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Boruc Gierlach got the match started through his kick off. When Barcelona's Boruc Gierlach in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kalushin's goalie prevented a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zdzislaw Siwek got free with Leszek Cichocki in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ulryk Zielinski scored 0-2 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tomasz Zima, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Barcelona booed when Kalushin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zygmunt Gejda didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zygmunt Gejda kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 28 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Boruc Gierlach sped through Kalushin's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tomasz Zima. Boruc Gierlach sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Boruc Gierlach in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tomasz Zima saved Kalushin from getting behind. After some careless play in the Kalushin defense, Boruc Gierlach kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tomasz Zima. The Kalushin fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tomasz Zima should have stopped the shot. Ulryk Zielinski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jedrzej Nieruchliwy was the one to do the kick off. Boruc Gierlach was extremely unlucky when he, in the 57th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Boruc Gierlach managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barcelona's supporters rose to their feet, but Boruc Gierlach was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tomasz Zima breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 69 played minutes Barcelona got a freekick which was hit by Boleslaw Porajewski. Tomasz Zima stood somewhat misplaced when Boruc Gierlach came free in front of goal and shot 0-7 to the left of him in the 72 minute. After a defensive mix-up in Kalushin's zone, Boruc Gierlach stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomasz Zima came out of the goal and Boruc Gierlach tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Andrzej Bielenda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Tomasz Zima tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Marek Ostrowski was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 83 minutes had been played. The supporters of Barcelona booed when Kalushin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marek Ostrowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. 88 minutes into the match, Boruc Gierlach had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tomasz Zima. Kalushin's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Boruc Gierlach was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-8. Boruc Gierlach sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Barcelona's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
