Griffins's Marcin Cerocki was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Klement Dziatkowicz in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 40th minute, Sebastian Kisiel fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Zbyszek Budzyn's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Stanislaw Kuszczak read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. When the match clock showed 46 minutes, the score became 1-5 when Sebastian Kisiel sped through Griffins's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Stanislaw Kuszczak. Disappointed in the 1-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Miguel Chesus stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Barnaba Hyska fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Klement Dziatkowicz having to interfere. A collision led to Griffins getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Grzegorz Szkaradek hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Griffins's Marcin Cerocki got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Miguel Chesus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Klement Dziatkowicz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edgar Barniszke's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Klement Dziatkowicz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. Gipsu Kudzia's Klement Dziatkowicz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Gipsu Kudzia from getting a goal against them. Filip Chrzan kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Edgar Barniszke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Miguel Chesus got free with Klement Dziatkowicz in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Miguel Chesus managed to get in a good position for a shot. Griffins's supporters rose to their feet, but Miguel Chesus was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Klement Dziatkowicz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 95th match minute, Griffins was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lukasz Kaczorowski to maneuver through the defense.
