When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Patryk Andrysiak took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Hieronim Basinski to make any attempt to save it. 3-1 became the score in the 30th minute when Patryk Andrysiak elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Hieronim Basinski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ryszard Lamczyk in the 35th minute. Manchester United's Hieronim Basinski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Manchester United from getting a goal against them. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Miromir Dunajski was the one to do the kick off. After 53 minutes of play, stal sanok's Ryszard Lamczyk made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edward Malmgren's late challenge caught a stal sanok's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Manchester United's zone, Patryk Andrysiak stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hieronim Basinski came out of the goal and Patryk Andrysiak tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hieronim Basinski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ryszard Lamczyk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 73rd minute, Edward Wawro made a precise shot to the right of Hieronim Basinski. Manchester United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-2. Patryk Andrysiak recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 77 minutes into the game, stal sanok's Ryszard Lamczyk nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hieronim Basinski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-2. 81 minutes into the match, Manchester United's goal looked a bit too open when Adam Jakisz came free, but Hieronim Basinski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 82 minutes, Rafal Kilar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Manchester United and the stal sanok players grew even worse after the yellow card.
