The audience thought a goal was coming when Feliks Ledochowski got free with Tolek Piwowarski in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 18th minute, Barnaba Ankiewicz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tolek Piwowarski was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. 21 minutes into the match, Mikolaj Puchlik dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Tolek Piwowarski, 3-0. Tolek Piwowarski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tolek Piwowarski was a little too slow when Feliks Ledochowski got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 35th minute. The score was now 4-0. Tolek Piwowarski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kacper Moryl, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. After 42 played minutes Water got a freekick which was hit by Vesko Bozhkov. In the 45th minute Feliks Ledochowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tolek Piwowarski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tolek Piwowarski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Feliks Ledochowski went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score.
