In the 7th match minute, Piast Gliwice was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Witalis Bator to maneuver through the defense. In the 9th match minute, Ittowken SA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boruc Fudalej to maneuver through the defense. Edward Pankowski took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benedicto Paul. Benedicto Paul dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Benedicto Paul showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucjan Cytrynski in the 16th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the match, Ittowken SA's goalkeeper Benedicto Paul had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zbyszko Makomaski. Zachariasz Cempa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Witold Popowicz in the 20th minute of the match. Zachariasz Cempa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emilio Altobelli in the 21st minute of play. Piast Gliwice made a substitution. Tomasz Skrzypiec replaced Tomasz Chludzinski. Cosimo Leopardi hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Edward Pankowski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Benedicto Paul made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Emilio Altobelli managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ittowken SA's supporters rose to their feet, but Emilio Altobelli was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zachariasz Cempa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Milosz Piwowarski was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 34 minutes into the match. In the 34th minute, one of Piast Gliwice:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Piast Gliwice. In the 37th minute there was a penalty for Ittowken SA. Emilio Altobelli stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Zachariasz Cempa. 1-1. The supporters of Ittowken SA booed when Piast Gliwice was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Witalis Bator didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomasz Skrzypiec charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tomasz Skrzypiec the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Tomasz Skrzypiec kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Jozef Seidel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ittowken SA's supporters rose to their feet, but Jozef Seidel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zachariasz Cempa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

55 minutes into the match, Piast Gliwice's goal looked a bit too open when Witold Popowicz came free, but Zachariasz Cempa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 62nd minute of the match, Wit Zawaski tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Zachariasz Cempa saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 65 minutes into the game, Boruc Fudalej was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ittowken SA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Piast Gliwice the free kick. Boruc Fudalej hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. When the match was over Ittowken SA could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Piast Gliwice throughout the match.
