In the 16th minute of the match, Marek Roosipuu got a very nice opportunity to score, but Procopio Trespalacios was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as Concordia Knurów's Hong Zheng Zhan slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Procopio Trespalacios. That made the score 1-0 after 20 minutes of play. Fryderyk Jajecznica's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lucjan Bielejewski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Spartans Lodz's Pierre-Emmanuel Agostini got a free kick in the 25th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Igor Škarpa in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Procopio Trespalacios saved Spartans Lodz from getting behind. The attack was good, but when Marek Roosipuu in the 28th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Igor Škarpa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lucjan Bielejewski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iwan Ostrowski in the 37th minute of the match. The supporters of Concordia Knurów booed when Spartans Lodz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Herbert Gozdowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marek Roosipuu got free with Procopio Trespalacios in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Concordia Knurów's Mieszko Barniszke got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 46 minutes, Fryderyk Jajecznica managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Spartans Lodz's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fryderyk Jajecznica was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marek Roosipuu was the one to do the kick off. In the 51stth minute of the game Igor Škarpa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Spartans Lodz's Procopio Trespalacios was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 52 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Igor Škarpa sped through Spartans Lodz's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Procopio Trespalacios. In the 58th minute Igor Škarpa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Procopio Trespalacios saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fryderyk Jajecznica who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 71stth minute tested the skills of Lucjan Bielejewski when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Though ot was a great shot Concordia Knurów's keeper Lucjan Bielejewski was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. In the 75th match minute, Concordia Knurów was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pankracy Michnik to maneuver through the defense. Concordia Knurów's Lucjan Bielejewski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Concordia Knurów from getting a goal against them. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Concordia Knurów's goalie and right to Iwan Ostrowski. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Concordia Knurów's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. When Iwan Ostrowski fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Spartans Lodz's protests and gave Iwan Ostrowski a yellow card for diving instead. Lucjan Rasiak kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. After 80 played minutes, Concordia Knurów's Mieszko Barniszke shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Procopio Trespalacios came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Concordia Knurów reached it. Benedykt Koprowski might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Procopio Trespalacios. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Benedykt Koprowski ran back to his position shaking his head. 83 minutes into the match, Spartans Lodz's goal looked a bit too open when Benedykt Koprowski came free, but Procopio Trespalacios reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lucjan Bielejewski made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Fryderyk Jajecznica sent off a good shot on target. Iwan Ostrowski hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Lucjan Bielejewski acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 94th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Radowit Szel. Spartans Lodz's Procopio Trespalacios played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benedykt Koprowski in the 95th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Concordia Knurów had played much better football throughout.
