After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Kazimierz Dylla managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pogoń Stawiszyn's supporters rose to their feet, but Kazimierz Dylla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Igor Zacharczyk breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mieszko Bartelak charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mieszko Bartelak the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Tiki Taka C. F. booed when Pogoń Stawiszyn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mieszko Bartelak didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ryszard Pilipiec fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Igor Zacharczyk having to interfere. Laureano Nicholas who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 56thth minute tested the skills of Gilbert Podolski when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Kazimierz Dylla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 61stth minute of the game Laureano Nicholas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pogoń Stawiszyn's Gilbert Podolski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Laureano Nicholas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gilbert Podolski was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Laureano Nicholas in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gilbert Podolski saved Pogoń Stawiszyn from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Pogoń Stawiszyn's zone, Kote Bock stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gilbert Podolski came out of the goal and Kote Bock tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 75 minutes into the match, Tiki Taka C. F.'s goal looked a bit too open when Ryszard Pilipiec came free, but Igor Zacharczyk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tiki Taka C. F.'s Igor Zacharczyk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ryszard Pilipiec in the 76th minute of play. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tiki Taka C. F.'s goalkeeper Igor Zacharczyk, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The corner led to Pogoń Stawiszyn's Kazimierz Dylla getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. When Mieszko Bartelak was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 83 minutes had been played. If Kazimierz Dylla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gilbert Podolski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laureano Nicholas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 90 minutes Pogoń Stawiszyn's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Júlio Alcântara who took care of the corner kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Laureano Nicholas in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gilbert Podolski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Tiki Taka C. F. supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Tiki Taka C. F. would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
