Yara Poland's John Carew got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 5th minute Oyedeji Rau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thomas Fredriksson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When John Carew came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Yara Poland fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that John Carew couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the OKS Odra Opole defense, Felix Fanøe kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Thomas Fredriksson. The OKS Odra Opole fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Thomas Fredriksson should have stopped the shot. After 17 minutes OKS Odra Opole's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jaroslaw Kaczynski who took care of the corner kick. Andreas Täman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bartosz Komanski having to make a save. Yara Poland's Bartosz Komanski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Yara Poland from getting a goal against them. Ignacy Tepper hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Fanøe in the 25th minute of play forced OKS Odra Opole's goalkeeper Thomas Fredriksson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 27 minutes into the match, OKS Odra Opole's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Fanøe came free, but Thomas Fredriksson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thomas Fredriksson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaroslaw Kaczynski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Felix Fanøe scored 0-2 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Thomas Fredriksson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Ignacy Tepper had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stanislaw Barowicz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, OKS Odra Opole's Artur Paprotny got a free kick in the 43rd minute. After 47 minutes, Durval Marques mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Yara Poland and the OKS Odra Opole players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 47 played minutes Yara Poland got a freekick which was hit by Durval Marques. 48 minutes into the match, Yara Poland's goal looked a bit too open when Ignacy Tepper came free, but Bartosz Komanski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jaroslaw Kaczynski was the one to do the kick off. Bartosz Komanski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ignacy Tepper in the 52nd minute of the match. Felix Fanøes short, quick shot in the 53rdth minute got Thomas Fredriksson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Jaroslaw Kaczynski took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Thomas Fredriksson. Thomas Fredriksson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. In the 57th minute Jaroslaw Kaczynski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thomas Fredriksson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Andreas Täman came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the OKS Odra Opole fans jumped to their feet. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jaroslaw Kaczynski in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thomas Fredriksson saved OKS Odra Opole from getting behind. In the 62nd minute Andreas Täman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bartosz Komanski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 63rd match minute, OKS Odra Opole was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Artur Paprotny to maneuver through the defense. Thomas Fredriksson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Yara Poland's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
