Alfred Niedbalski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tolek Komanski's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Tolek Komanski put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Alfred Niedbalski. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Tolek Komanski managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Barlinek's supporters rose to their feet, but Tolek Komanski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfred Niedbalski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alfred Niedbalski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernando Morientes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Ricardinho Chaves managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Barlinek's supporters rose to their feet, but Ricardinho Chaves was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfred Niedbalski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fernando Morientes in the 48th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alfred Niedbalski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 48thth minute of the game Fernando Morientes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Polonia Łaziska's Alfred Niedbalski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Juliano Candeias was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to FC Barlinek getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Fernando Morientes hit a great ball. Fernando Morientes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfred Niedbalski having to interfere. 58 minutes into the match, FC Barlinek's goal looked a bit too open when Wincent Tychy came free, but Zachary Komornicki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 59th minute of the match Polonia Łaziska got a corner. FC Barlinek's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Miromir Trela ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Miromir Trela almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC Barlinek's Zachary Komornicki did a great save. Tolek Komanski was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 63rd minute. FC Barlinek's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Sam Juanda scored 1-1 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zachary Komornicki, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 69th minute, Fernando Morientes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alfred Niedbalski was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. The supporters of FC Barlinek booed when Polonia Łaziska was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. André Piø didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 75 minutes, Braulio Llorian managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Barlinek's supporters crossed their fingers, but Braulio Llorian was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fernando Morientes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Alfred Niedbalski made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wincent Tychy in the 79th minute of play forced FC Barlinek's goalkeeper Zachary Komornicki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alfred Niedbalski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fernando Morientes in the 87th minute. A collision led to FC Barlinek getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Antonello Bianco hit a great ball.
