Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Marian Dropinski started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the match, Sylwester Lampa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Antoni Walaszkiewicz. Śląsk Katowice's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sylwester Lampa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Radomil Weyna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teofil Rzegotka in the 10th minute of the match. Antoni Walaszkiewicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marian Dropinski in the 11th minute of play. In the 12th minute, Artur Czech hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Śląsk Katowice's goalkeeper Antoni Walaszkiewicz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Antoni Walaszkiewicz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marian Dropinski, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Aureliusz Frankowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abe Habenicht sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 33 minutes into the match, MKS Bełchatów's goalkeeper Radomil Weyna had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Teofil Rzegotka. Teofil Rzegotka fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Radomil Weyna having to interfere. 60 minutes into the match, MKS Bełchatów's goal looked a bit too open when Abe Habenicht came free, but Radomil Weyna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Radomil Weyna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marek Bronicki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santos Dumont in the 65th minute of play forced Śląsk Katowice's goalkeeper Antoni Walaszkiewicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of MKS Bełchatów booed when Śląsk Katowice was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abe Habenicht didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marian Dropinski scored 0-2 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Antoni Walaszkiewicz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abe Habenicht in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Radomil Weyna saved MKS Bełchatów from getting behind. Antoni Walaszkiewicz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marian Dropinski in the 73rd minute. Śląsk Katowice made a substitution. Adelino Salgado replaced Abe Habenicht. After 75 minutes Śląsk Katowice's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Boguslaw Mierzwa who took care of the corner kick. Radomil Weyna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wit Matuch in the 79th minute of play. Radomil Weyna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marek Bronicki in the 81st minute of the match. In the 83rd match minute, Śląsk Katowice was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teobald Wiatrak to maneuver through the defense. In the 84th minute Marian Dropinski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antoni Walaszkiewicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 85th match minute, MKS Bełchatów was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Artur Czech to maneuver through the defense. Marian Dropinski might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Antoni Walaszkiewicz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marian Dropinski ran back to his position shaking his head. Marek Bronicki recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. MKS Bełchatów walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
