In the 26th minute, Fidel Blunt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Szymon Naskrent in the 28th minute of play forced Astral's goalkeeper Fabian Hludzenski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marian Kajfasz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fidel Blunt's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Fidel Blunt who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 38thth minute tested the skills of Marian Kajfasz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Astral's zone, Szymon Naskrent stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabian Hludzenski came out of the goal and Szymon Naskrent tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 43 minutes into the game, Wasyl Dombroski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pogoń Szczecin's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Astral the free kick. Wasyl Dombroski hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Fidel Blunt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Marian Kajfasz made a huge save. Fabian Hludzenski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Szymon Naskrent in the 48th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Szymon Naskrent was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute, Beppe Colombi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
