In the 5th minute Yngve Björklund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gonzalo Berdaitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Przemyslaw Del Piero's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gonzalo Berdaitz was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. 6 minutes into the game, Przemyslaw Del Piero recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gonzalo Berdaitz. Przemyslaw Del Piero showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Florian Marciewicz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Klement Gieraltowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kajetan Duszenski kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Punishment were awarded a corner in the 18th minute after GÓRNIK ZABRZE's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Klement Gieraltowski took the corner. Tamir Capitan was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 22nd minute, Laurentino Valentim ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gonzalo Berdaitz was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. In the 26th minute of the match, Przemyslaw Del Piero tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Gonzalo Berdaitz saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 30th match minute, GÓRNIK ZABRZE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erramun Villarreal to maneuver through the defense. Gonzalo Berdaitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kajetan Duszenski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 38 played minutes Punishment got a freekick which was hit by Charalambos Pallini. 44 minutes into the game, GÓRNIK ZABRZE's Przemyslaw Del Piero nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot.
