The Zagłębie Dąbrowskie fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Villiam Arenius should have stopped the shot. Jerzy Grocholskis short, quick shot in the 80thth minute got Villiam Arenius to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zdzislaw Biraga in the 81st minute of play forced Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's goalkeeper Villiam Arenius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adalberto Figueiredo in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maksymilian Prusinowski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 1909 Tarnovia's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
