The supporters of KANONIERZY booed when 1909 Tarnovia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Çağan Serol didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gösta Söderberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maksymilian Prusinowski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. 10 minutes had been played when some careless play by 1909 Tarnovia's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ivo Chaves was slow to take the kick. During this time KANONIERZY's players had a chance to rest. Maksymilian Prusinowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gösta Söderberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Christian Abbiati showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Barnaba Latkiewicz in the 18th minute of the match. After 22 minutes 1909 Tarnovia's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ivo Chaves who took care of the corner kick. Maksymilian Prusinowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gösta Söderberg in the 25th minute of the match. Christian Abbiati made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ulryk Podolski in the 28th minute. Jakub Gondela could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Christian Abbiati made a huge save. 33 minutes into the match, KANONIERZY's goal looked a bit too open when Barnaba Latkiewicz came free, but Christian Abbiati reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 34 minutes KANONIERZY's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jerzy Grocholski who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Jerzy Grocholski almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but KANONIERZY's Christian Abbiati did a great save. Christian Abbiati came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by 1909 Tarnovia's Barnaba Latkiewicz. But to his dismay, Barnaba Latkiewicz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ime Mavros in the 38th minute of play forced 1909 Tarnovia's goalkeeper Maksymilian Prusinowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The KANONIERZY fans' excitement grew in the 39th match minute when KANONIERZY's Ali Hamza Hanefi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

1909 Tarnovia's Prosper Vandamme was substituted for Barnaba Latkiewicz. In the 52nd match minute, 1909 Tarnovia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulryk Podolski to maneuver through the defense. KANONIERZY's Christian Abbiati played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jakub Gondela in the 55th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jerzy Grocholski in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Christian Abbiati saved KANONIERZY from getting behind. With an all-out effort, KANONIERZY's Maksymilian Prusinowski threw himself towards the right post 64 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ali Hamza Hanefi, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Maksymilian Prusinowski made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Ali Hamza Hanefi sent off a good shot on target. In the 74th minute of the match KANONIERZY got a corner. 1909 Tarnovia's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ivo Chaves ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Julian Zgonina heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Maksymilian Prusinowski made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Gösta Söderberg sent off a good shot on target. Zdzislaw Biraga struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Christian Abbiati didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for 1909 Tarnovia. KANONIERZY made a substitution. Bernard Poniewaz replaced Zbyszek Ferfecki. In the 89thth minute of the game Prosper Vandamme who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KANONIERZY's Christian Abbiati was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 1909 Tarnovia's Maksymilian Prusinowski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save 1909 Tarnovia from getting a goal against them.
