In the 4th minute Nils Daleng shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Kirkeby saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kvingedal BK's Sebastian Sandnes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Klemetsen in the 9th minute of play. If Nils Daleng had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Audun Hamre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Sebastian Sandnes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Klemetsen in the 16th minute of play forced Kvingedal BK's goalkeeper Sebastian Sandnes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Audun Hamre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 19 minutes into the match, Åserum IF's Felix Klemetsen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sebastian Sandnes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Christian Kirkeby showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Finn Drange in the 22nd minute of the match. After having played for 23 minutes, Finn Drange managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kvingedal BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Finn Drange was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Kvingedal BK booed when Åserum IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. John Ringstad didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Nils Daleng had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nils Daleng received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Christian Kirkeby tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Audun Hamre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 45 played minutes Kvingedal BK got a freekick which was hit by Morten Ringvold. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Felix Klemetsen was the one to do the kick off. Kjell Homme struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Christian Kirkeby didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kvingedal BK. If Felix Klemetsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sebastian Sandnes came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Åserum IF's Felix Klemetsen. But to his dismay, Felix Klemetsen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. A collision led to Kvingedal BK getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Finn Drange hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Kvingedal BK's zone, Felix Klemetsen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sebastian Sandnes came out of the goal and Felix Klemetsen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Audun Hamre managed to get in a good position for a shot. Åserum IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Audun Hamre was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sebastian Sandnes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Felix Klemetsen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Sebastian Sandnes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Audun Hamre might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sebastian Sandnes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Audun Hamre ran back to his position shaking his head. Finn Drange sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sebastian Sandnes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Audun Hamre in the 85th minute of the match. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kvingedal BK's goalkeeper Sebastian Sandnes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Åserum IF's goalkeeper Christian Kirkeby, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jo Vågen kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. In the 91st minute, a hard, long distance shot from Morten Ringvold hit the top of the crossbar and flew over the goal. Åserum IF's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
