Christer Nord started the match with the kick off. Kyrre Østerhus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jordalsbø BK were furious when Reidar Stenerud was red carded, 18 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 17 minutes into the game, one of Jordalsbø BK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Jonathan Haugstad had in the 20thth minute some difficulties stopping Andreas Skåre's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 20th minute, Andreas Skåre ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Haugstad was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Andreas Bergman's late challenge caught a Meskestad's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Andreas Bergman helped the player get up and apologised. Andreas Bergman kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Jan-Frode Liabø scored 2-0 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Haugstad, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jan-Frode Liabø in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Haugstad saved Jordalsbø BK from getting behind. Jonathan Haugstad came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Meskestad's Kristoffer Reinertsen. But to his dismay, Kristoffer Reinertsen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Andreas Bergman kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Johan Thrane made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kyrre Østerhus in the 40th minute of play. If Jan-Frode Liabø had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kyrre Østerhus stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Jordalsbø BK's zone, Christer Nord stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Haugstad came out of the goal and Christer Nord tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jan-Frode Liabø fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Haugstad having to interfere. Jonathan Haugstad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christer Nord in the 55th minute of play. Kyrre Østerhus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johan Thrane having to interfere. Jan-Frode Liabø fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Haugstad having to interfere. Geir Bergh's late challenge caught a Meskestad's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Geir Bergh helped the player get up and apologised. Geir Bergh hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Kyrre Østerhus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johan Thrane having to interfere. With a little luck, Meskestad's Johan Thrane got control of the ball when Kyrre Østerhus tried to sneak it across the goal line. Christer Nord took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Haugstad. Jonathan Haugstad dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Jonathan Haugstad stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jan-Frode Liabø's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. Jan-Frode Liabø received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Jonathan Haugstad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Christer Nord sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Meskestad's zone, Vegard Jansen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Johan Thrane came out of the goal and Vegard Jansen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 93rd minute, Christer Nord made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Haugstad. Jordalsbø BK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. In the 97th minute, Meskestad's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Kyrre Østerhus fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Meskestad were victorious despite being under pressure from Jordalsbø BK for much of the match.
