William Sundberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Ragnar Styve made a huge save. Ragnar Styve showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oscar Rabben in the 6th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Filip Berg during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 7th minute of the game. One of Olsnes BF:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Gjemdal BK:s goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when William Sundberg got free with Ragnar Styve in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 14th minute, Kristian Rasmussen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Morten Andreassen was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The supporters of Gjemdal BK booed when Olsnes BF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filip Berg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ragnar Styve made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oscar Rabben in the 19th minute of play. Jon-Arne Skjølberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Morten Andreassen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jon-Arne Skjølberg ran back to his position shaking his head. William Sundberg struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Ragnar Styve didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gjemdal BK. If Ole-Einar Knutsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Morten Andreassen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kristian Rasmussen in the 31st minute of the match. Ragnar Styve showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oscar Rabben, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. William Sundberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ragnar Styve read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. The Gjemdal BK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Olsnes BF were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Oscar Rabben was the one to do the kick off. Kristian Rasmussen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Morten Andreassen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 54 minutes into the match, Gjemdal BK's goal looked a bit too open when Kristian Rasmussen came free, but Morten Andreassen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Olsnes BF getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Jonathan Malmedal hit a great ball. After 66 minutes of play, Gjemdal BK's Oscar Rabben made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ragnar Styve was left in no man's land by his defense there! With his leg Morten Andreassen managed to avoid a goal in the 72ndth minute, when Olsnes BF's Jon-Arne Skjølberg fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 76th minute, Kristian Rasmussen fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Oscar Rabben received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Ragnar Styve tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 87 played minutes Gjemdal BK got a freekick which was hit by Eilert Nybakk. Morten Andreassen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jon-Arne Skjølberg in the 88th minute. Ragnar Styve showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oscar Rabben in the 94th minute of the match. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
