Sigerfjord's Dag Jansson got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Sigerfjord's Jens Vollan got control of the ball when Arild Olaussen tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 15th minute, Noah Schie made a precise shot to the right of Cato Urke. Hamningberg BF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. The supporters of Sigerfjord booed when Hamningberg BF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christer Barth didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 20 minutes, Dag Jansson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sigerfjord's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dag Jansson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dag Jansson in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cato Urke prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Christer Barth's late challenge caught a Sigerfjord's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Christer Barth helped the player get up and apologised. In the 23rd minute, Christer Barth hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Christer Barth got his second yellow card in the match during the 24th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Sigerfjord booed when Hamningberg BF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christer Barth didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 26 played minutes, Sigerfjord's Trond Lind shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cato Urke came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sigerfjord reached it. After 34 played minutes Sigerfjord got a freekick which was hit by Trond Lind. When the match had gone on for 40 minutes, Hans-Kristian Bjørgen took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Jens Vollan to make any attempt to save it. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arild Olaussen to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Sigerfjord's goalkeeper Jens Vollan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 56th minute, Noah Schie left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sigerfjord fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Cato Urke made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dag Jansson in the 63rd minute. With a little luck, Hamningberg BF's Cato Urke got control of the ball when Dag Jansson tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 76th minute by Dag Jansson got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Arild Olaussen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jens Vollan having to interfere. Arild Olaussen scored 2-2 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jens Vollan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 85th match minute, Hamningberg BF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Einar Løvstad to maneuver through the defense. When Dag Jansson came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Sigerfjord fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dag Jansson couldn't finish the play. Dag Jansson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Sigerfjord players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Hamningberg BF from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
