Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Wilhelm Aasbø kicked off to start the match. Noah Schie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Kenneth Fagerheim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Sigerfjord booed when Geitvik FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan-Arne Krogstad didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wilhelm Aasbø in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jens Vollan saved Sigerfjord from getting behind. After 13 played minutes, Geitvik FF's Bjarte Gunnerød shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jens Vollan came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Geitvik FF reached it. Dag Jansson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. In the 17th minute, one of Geitvik FF:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Geitvik FF. Kenneth Fagerheim made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dag Jansson in the 25th minute. Noah Schie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Kenneth Fagerheim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dag Jansson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 32 minutes, Dag Jansson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sigerfjord's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dag Jansson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sigerfjord's Dag Jansson got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Dag Jansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 42 played minutes Sigerfjord got a freekick which was hit by Karl Persen. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Noah Schie was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dag Jansson in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kenneth Fagerheim prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 56 minutes into the match, Geitvik FF's Martin Augestad sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jens Vollan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dag Jansson might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kenneth Fagerheim. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dag Jansson ran back to his position shaking his head. Sigerfjord's Noah Schie got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Wilhelm Aasbø recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Geitvik FF's Kenneth Fagerheim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Noah Schie in the 80th minute of play. After 80 minutes, Trym Sjåstad mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Geitvik FF and the Sigerfjord players grew even worse after the yellow card. Trym Sjåstad hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Geitvik FF's Kenneth Fagerheim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Noah Schie in the 82nd minute of play. After 83 minutes Geitvik FF's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Trond Lind who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Hans-Martin Svenkerud heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. If Martin Augestad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wilhelm Aasbø's late challenge caught a Sigerfjord's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wilhelm Aasbø helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Geitvik FF getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Wilhelm Aasbø hit a great ball.
