Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jarle Angeltveit got the match started through his kick off. Karl Bartnes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Erik Wroldsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Storbugten IF's zone, Edvard Dramstad stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erik Wroldsen came out of the goal and Edvard Dramstad tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 10 minutes into the game, Odin Høyem was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Storbugten IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rabban the free kick. In the 10th minute, Odin Høyem hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Storbugten IF's goalkeeper Erik Wroldsen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Arvid Hinna's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Øyvind Jessen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jarle Angeltveit in the 15th minute of play forced Rabban's goalkeeper Øyvind Jessen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Edvard Dramstad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rabban's Øyvind Jessen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Rabban from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Rabban booed when Storbugten IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ole-Jostein Mørch didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 27thth minute of the game Karl Bartnes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Storbugten IF's Erik Wroldsen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Asmund Langset fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Storbugten IF's protests and gave Asmund Langset a yellow card for diving instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Sturle Andvik managed to get in a good position for a shot. Storbugten IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Sturle Andvik was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Øyvind Jessen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sturle Andvik in the 34thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Øyvind Jessen, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 37th minute, Sturle Andvik ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Øyvind Jessen was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. If Jarle Angeltveit had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jarle Angeltveit sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sturle Andvik's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Øyvind Jessen firmly grabbed it by the left post. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Edvard Dramstad made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Ole-Jostein Mørch was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. When Arvid Hinna fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Storbugten IF's protests and gave Arvid Hinna a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Storbugten IF's Arvid Hinna got a free kick in the 70th minute. 71 minutes into the match, Rabban's Glenn Skjønhaug broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Erik Wroldsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edvard Dramstad in the 73rd minute of play. In the 79th minute Sturle Andvik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Øyvind Jessen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Edvard Dramstad's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Erik Wroldsen was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. The supporters of Storbugten IF booed when Rabban was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karl Bartnes didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 96 played minutes Rabban got a freekick which was hit by Glenn Skjønhaug. 97 minutes into the match, Storbugten IF's Ole-Jostein Mørch broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Storbugten IF had won after a very even match.
