Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Refset FF's Johannes Christiansen started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 minutes, Runar Mo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sandviknes and the Refset FF players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 3rd minute, Runar Mo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Jarle Lindahl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 10th minute Runar Mogen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arild Søberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arild Søberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jarle Lindahl in the 14th minute of the match. Refset FF's Johannes Christiansen got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arild Søberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Runar Mogen in the 21st minute of play. Refset FF's Arild Søberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Runar Mogen in the 28th minute of play. Johannes Christiansen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Linus Melvold having to make a save. If Johannes Christiansen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 41 minutes, Johannes Christiansen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Refset FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Johannes Christiansen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 44 minutes into the game, Johannes Christiansen lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Linus Melvold. The supporters of Refset FF booed when Sandviknes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Per Aarseth didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Runar Mogen to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Johannes Christiansen made a precise shot to the right of Linus Melvold. Sandviknes's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Refset FF:s Arild Søberg showed great skill when he stopped Hugo Andresen:s penalty. Hugo Andresen kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Trym Rusten, 65 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After 70 played minutes Sandviknes got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Andresen. Jarle Lindahl received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Arild Søberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arild Søberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Runar Mogen, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dag Belsvik during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Dag Belsvik kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Arild Søberg was out of position in the 79 minute of play, and Runar Mogen capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Runar Mogen really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Henrik Fjeldheim during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 82nd minute, Henrik Fjeldheim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jarle Lindahl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arild Søberg having to interfere. Magne Rikardsen might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Linus Melvold. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Magne Rikardsen ran back to his position shaking his head. After 91 played minutes Sandviknes got a freekick which was hit by Runar Mo. After a defensive mix-up in Sandviknes's zone, Dag Belsvik stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Linus Melvold came out of the goal and Dag Belsvik tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Magne Rikardsen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Linus Melvold having to interfere.
