After a defensive mix-up in Elgshøa BF's zone, Georg Karlson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oliver Bjørkmo came out of the goal and Georg Karlson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Georg Karlson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Daniel Haugseth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 14 minutes into the game, Henrik Bøthun was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Elgshøa BF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hauso the free kick. A collision led to Elgshøa BF getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Henrik Bøthun hit a great ball. If Arnstein Melheim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Per-Kristian Søreng showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Haugseth in the 26th minute of the match. Kjartan Ophaug hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. In the 35th minute, Daniel Haugseth fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Per-Kristian Søreng, passed just outside the right post. 39 minutes into the match, Elgshøa BF's Daniel Haugseth sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Per-Kristian Søreng narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Through an outstanding action, after 42 minutes, Per-Kristian Søreng successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The supporters of Elgshøa BF booed when Hauso was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bendik Juell didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Svein Aasland to strike the kick off in the second half. Per-Kristian Søreng showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Haugseth, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Oliver Bjørkmo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Svein Aasland in the 65th minute of the match. A collision led to Elgshøa BF getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Henrik Bøthun hit a great ball. Elgshøa BF's Oliver Bjørkmo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Svein Aasland in the 71st minute of play. After 75 played minutes Elgshøa BF got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Haugseth. 76 minutes in the game, Georg Karlson fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Oliver Bjørkmo having to interfere. In the 85th minute, Hauso's Svein Aasland dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. Arnstein Melheim kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Georg Nordlie during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Elgshøa BF's Georg Nordlie got a free kick in the 94th minute. The Elgshøa BF supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Hauso's performance. The match ended with a win for Hauso.
