Nils-Christian Werners short, quick shot in the 11thth minute got Odd-Eirik Bjørvik to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 12 minutes into the match, Örsiden's goal looked a bit too open when Eivind Thorgersen came free, but Odd-Eirik Bjørvik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Odd-Eirik Bjørvik made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nils-Christian Werner in the 15th minute. After a rather tough play, Örsiden's August Flø got a free kick in the 18th minute. Nils-Christian Werner could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Odd-Eirik Bjørvik made a huge save. After 26 played minutes Örsiden got a freekick which was hit by August Flø. Örsiden's Odd-Eirik Bjørvik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eivind Thorgersen in the 31st minute of play. Nils-Christian Werner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Odd-Eirik Bjørvik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Otto Didriksen was the one to do the kick off. Nils-Christian Werner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 56th minute Eivind Thorgersen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Odd-Eirik Bjørvik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eivind Thorgersen in the 58th minute of play forced Örsiden's goalkeeper Odd-Eirik Bjørvik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Örsiden's Ola Sandli got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Edvard Elden showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Otto Didriksen, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Ola Sandli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Andreas Skarstad's late challenge caught a Örsiden's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Drågåset's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
