Fredrik Svenning sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 22 played minutes Spillåm got a freekick which was hit by Jan-Ivar Merkesdal. In the 24th minute, Daniel Abbas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fosshaug fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Fosshaug's Daniel Abbas got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 34 minutes, John Thommesen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fosshaug's supporters crossed their fingers, but John Thommesen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When John Thommesen fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fosshaug's protests and gave John Thommesen a yellow card for diving instead. John Thommesen kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 42nd minute by Fredrik Svenning got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 43 played minutes Fosshaug got a freekick which was hit by John Thommesen. When Fredrik Svenning came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Spillåm fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fredrik Svenning couldn't finish the play. Daniel Abbas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Abbas to strike the kick off in the second half. When Daniel Abbas got free in front of the goal in the 54th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Einar Vestbø was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Einar Vestbø was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but John Thommesen showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 56 minute of play. In the 59thth minute of the game Daniel Abbas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Spillåm's Einar Vestbø was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Spillåm getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Jan-Ivar Merkesdal hit a great ball. After 66 minutes of play, Spillåm's Ludvik Bjelland made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Daniel Sortland was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 74thth minute of the game Daniel Abbas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Spillåm's Einar Vestbø was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 75 minutes, Jan-Ivar Merkesdal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Spillåm and the Fosshaug players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Fosshaug booed when Spillåm was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan-Ivar Merkesdal didn't get a good kick on the ball. John Thommesen hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Fredrik Svenning received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. The Fosshaug players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
