Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Idar Fossdal made the kick off which started today's match. After 4 played minutes Thin Blue Line got a freekick which was hit by Roque Calisto. Nasos Kaklamanakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Idar Fossdal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 9 minutes into the match, Brøndby FK's goalkeeper Daniel Vikøren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roque Calisto. If Idar Fossdal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Mihăiţă Urdăreanu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Daniel Vikøren. That made the score 1-0 in the 17 minute of play. Roque Calisto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Daniel Vikøren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Idar Fossdal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brøndby FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Idar Fossdal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nasos Kaklamanakis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sindre Svanberg scored 1-1 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nasos Kaklamanakis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 31 minutes into the match, Brøndby FK's goalkeeper Daniel Vikøren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mihăiţă Urdăreanu. Roque Calisto hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Thin Blue Line's Nasos Kaklamanakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Idar Fossdal in the 36th minute of play. A collision led to Brøndby FK getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Anton Storm hit a great ball. Yu Zhen Ao's late challenge caught a Brøndby FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Yu Zhen Ao helped the player get up and apologised. Yu Zhen Ao kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Thin Blue Line fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 40th minute. Penalty! A sloppy throw-in by Olav Liabø in the 47th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Thin Blue Line's Yu Zhen Ao. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mihăiţă Urdăreanu in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Daniel Vikøren saved Brøndby FK from getting behind. After the first half Brøndby FK were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mihăiţă Urdăreanu to make the kick off. Daniel Vikøren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roque Calisto in the 51st minute of the match. If Mihăiţă Urdăreanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Thin Blue Line's Lakis Litras got a free kick in the 56th minute. In the 61st minute Idar Fossdal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nasos Kaklamanakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Mihăiţă Urdăreanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 72nd minute, Tor-Magnus Hille hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 76 minutes, Sverre Hoff managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Thin Blue Line's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sverre Hoff was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 80 played minutes Brøndby FK got a freekick which was hit by Tor-Magnus Hille. Oscar Netland made in the 82nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Thin Blue Line's Yu Zhen Ao. In the 86th minute, Roque Calisto made a precise shot to the right of Daniel Vikøren. Brøndby FK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-2. When Tor-Magnus Hille fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Brøndby FK's protests and gave Tor-Magnus Hille a yellow card for diving instead. Mihăiţă Urdăreanu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Daniel Vikøren read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. In the 92nd minute of the match Thin Blue Line got a corner. Brøndby FK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sverre Hoff ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 95thth minute of the game Roque Calisto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Brøndby FK's Daniel Vikøren was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Thin Blue Line had played much better football throughout.
