Nils-Arne Brastad kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Brain Dead Familia's Billy Jean-Louis got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Billy Jean-Louis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tom Øksnes having to interfere. Hans-Kristian Diesen received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tom Øksnes came out and tried to block the shot, but Hans-Kristian Diesen slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 33rd minute. In the 41st minute, Aslak Gjervik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hans-Kristian Diesen in the 43rd minute of play forced Hind's goalkeeper Tom Øksnes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tom Øksnes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hans-Kristian Diesen in the 45th minute of play.
The wind increased when Arne Kjølstad made the kick off in the second half. Alan Aasberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Wlodzimierz Mindykowski made a huge save. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Billy Jean-Louis couldn't finish the play. If Billy Jean-Louis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Brain Dead Familia's Hans-Kristian Diesen in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Wlodzimierz Mindykowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arne Kjølstad, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. The supporters of Hind booed when Brain Dead Familia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tor-Arne Langerud didn't get a good kick on the ball. Billy Jean-Louis struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Tom Øksnes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brain Dead Familia. Hans-Kristian Diesen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Brain Dead Familia's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
