Samuel Moen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Simen Rosland read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. Lars-Olav Øvergaard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Freste FF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Samuel Moen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Theodor Nylund stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sture Erichsen's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. Hustoft United's Theodor Nylund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sture Erichsen in the 30th minute of play. After 32 minutes, Peder Utvik mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hustoft United and the Freste FF players grew even worse after the yellow card. Peder Utvik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simen Rosland having to interfere. If Kåre Kvilhaug had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 42 minutes into the match, Hustoft United's Kåre Kvilhaug sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Simen Rosland narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lars-Olav Øvergaard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Theodor Nylund having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sture Erichsen to strike the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes Freste FF got a freekick which was hit by Lars-Olav Øvergaard. After having played for 54 minutes, Lars-Olav Øvergaard managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Freste FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lars-Olav Øvergaard was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Theodor Nylund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sture Erichsen in the 57th minute of the match. Samuel Moen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kåre Kvilhaug sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Simen Rosland showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samuel Moen in the 63rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Lars-Olav Øvergaard managed to get in a good position for a shot. Freste FF's supporters rose to their feet, but Lars-Olav Øvergaard was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Theodor Nylund breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Simen Rosland made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kåre Kvilhaug in the 86th minute of play. 86 minutes into the game, Hustoft United's Samuel Moen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Simen Rosland made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Lars-Olav Øvergaard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Peder Utvik kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Freste FF's Simen Aagesen couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Hustoft United. Sture Erichsen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Theodor Nylund having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Freste FF players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Hustoft United.
