When the match clock showed 37 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Emanuel Samdal sped through Tullamore's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Kjell Marstein. After 47 played minutes Tullamore got a freekick which was hit by Otto Silden. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Tullamore's defense didn't have a chance, in the 96th minute, when Jo Sørbø scored to the left of an out of position Kjell Marstein, making the score, 0-2. Rebbenes BF's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
