Arnstein Welle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carl Bratlie having to interfere. After having played for 7 minutes, Fredrik Engdal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stensby's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fredrik Engdal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 10 minutes of play, Gløsvåg's Julian Alexandersen made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Carl Bratlie was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 14th minute, Arnstein Welle got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 21 minutes into the match, Stensby's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Alexandersen came free, but Carl Bratlie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 24 minutes of play, Gløsvåg's Arnstein Welle made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Carl Bratlie was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 27 minutes, Arnstein Welle managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gløsvåg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arnstein Welle was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Julian Alexandersen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Fredrik Engdal came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Stensby fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fredrik Engdal couldn't finish the play. Gløsvåg's Christoffer Vea proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Gløsvåg from getting a goal against them. Arnstein Welle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Carl Bratlie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 36 minutes into the match, Stensby's goal looked a bit too open when Arnstein Welle came free, but Carl Bratlie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carl Bratlie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Alexandersen in the 37th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Stensby's Arve Wiken got a free kick in the 38th minute. If Arnstein Welle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After the first half Gløsvåg were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Julian Alexandersen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Carl Bratlie made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arnstein Welle in the 53rd minute. 56 minutes into the match, Gløsvåg's goal looked a bit too open when Fredrik Engdal came free, but Christoffer Vea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Arnstein Welle came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Gløsvåg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arnstein Welle couldn't finish the play. Carl Bratlie made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Arnstein Welle sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 63 minutes, Julian Alexandersen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gløsvåg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Julian Alexandersen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 64 minutes, Tord Horntvedt mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Stensby and the Gløsvåg players grew even worse after the yellow card. Tord Horntvedt kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. In the 71st minute, Julian Alexandersen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Julian Alexandersen was extremely unlucky when he, in the 72nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Brede Fagerland hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. In the 83rd minute, Espen Lindstrøm got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Julian Alexandersen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 91 minutes into the match, Stensby's goalkeeper Carl Bratlie had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arnstein Welle. If Arnstein Welle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match was over Gløsvåg could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Stensby throughout the match.
