In the 22nd match minute, Kvamen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christian Nordlien to maneuver through the defense. When Kvamen's Emil Alvær, in the 26th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Kvamen. Oscar Bjerkelund hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. 29 minutes into the game, William Borch was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sund BF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kvamen the free kick. A collision led to Sund BF getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. William Borch hit a great ball. Hans-Erik Nygren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Bernt Sannerud tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Sund BF's Roar Svenningsen got a free kick in the 34th minute. William Borch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stian Stokkan having to interfere. Hans-Erik Nygren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Bernt Sannerud tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emil Alvær made a kick off. Emil Alvær might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bernt Sannerud. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Emil Alvær ran back to his position shaking his head. If Emil Alvær had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Hans-Erik Nygren came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Kvamen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hans-Erik Nygren couldn't finish the play. Kyrre Kleppa hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Sund BF's zone, Emil Alvær stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernt Sannerud came out of the goal and Emil Alvær tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 63rd minute, Kvamen's Hans-Erik Nygren ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bernt Sannerud. Bernt Sannerud yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-1. Roar Svenningsen's late challenge caught a Kvamen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roar Svenningsen helped the player get up and apologised. Emil Alvær blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bernt Sannerud having to make a save. Sund BF's Bernt Sannerud proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Sund BF from getting a goal against them. In the 75th minute, Olof Bore hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hans-Erik Nygren's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Bernt Sannerud firmly grabbed it by the left post. 82 minutes into the match, Sund BF's goalkeeper Bernt Sannerud had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hans-Erik Nygren. 85 minutes into the match, Kvamen's Emil Alvær sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bernt Sannerud narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
