Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) After 3 minutes, Per Undheim mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hvalen BF and the Degnepol players grew even worse after the yellow card. Per Undheim kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Kevin Teige hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Hauk Simensen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 14th match minute, Degnepol was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ståle Gudmundsen to maneuver through the defense. After 15 played minutes Hvalen BF got a freekick which was hit by Ragnar Frostad. Gaute Hjelseth came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Degnepol's Albert Rolfsen. But to his dismay, Albert Rolfsen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Erik Urke was extremely unlucky when he, in the 21st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After 25 played minutes Hvalen BF got a freekick which was hit by Oddvar Sævik. After 26 played minutes Ståle Gudmundsen shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for Hvalen BF's Gaute Hjelseth to catch but Ståle Gudmundsen was lucky. It became 0-2 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. 29 minutes into the match, Degnepol's Albert Rolfsen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gaute Hjelseth narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 31 minutes into the game, Hvalen BF's Erik Urke nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Knut Eidsheim made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. When the match clock showed 37 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Albert Rolfsen sped through Hvalen BF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gaute Hjelseth. Hauk Simensen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaute Hjelseth having to interfere. After 47 played minutes Degnepol got a freekick which was hit by Inge Erdal. Hugo Marthinsen was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 48th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ragnar Frostad to strike the kick off in the second half. Steffen Aarø's late challenge caught a Degnepol's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Steffen Aarø helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Hvalen BF's Steffen Aarø got a free kick in the 57th minute. Hvalen BF's Gaute Hjelseth proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Hvalen BF from getting a goal against them. Hauk Simensen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Gaute Hjelseth tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Albert Rolfsen in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gaute Hjelseth saved Hvalen BF from getting behind. 70 minutes into the match, Hvalen BF's goal looked a bit too open when Albert Rolfsen came free, but Gaute Hjelseth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Erik Urke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Erlend Walderhaug's late challenge caught a Hvalen BF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Erlend Walderhaug helped the player get up and apologised. In the 76th match minute, Degnepol was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erlend Walderhaug to maneuver through the defense. If Erik Urke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Degnepol's Hauk Simensen got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 91 played minutes Degnepol got a freekick which was hit by Ståle Gudmundsen. A collision led to Degnepol getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Ståle Gudmundsen hit a great ball. Degnepol played a much better game than Hvalen BF and deserved their victory. The Hvalen BF players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
