If Martin Wulff had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paul Thomassen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Theodor Jelstad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Asgeir Holgersen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Asgeir Holgersen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 77th minute, Asgeir Holgersen fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After a defensive mix-up in Sukkertoppen if's zone, Asgeir Holgersen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tom Lein came out of the goal and Asgeir Holgersen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Martin Wulff fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tom Lein having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paul Thomassen in the 94th minute of play forced Surtebergmoen's goalkeeper Theodor Jelstad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 95 played minutes Sukkertoppen if got a freekick which was hit by Halvard Vistnes. Surtebergmoen's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
