Jon-Erik Torp who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 29thth minute tested the skills of Ingvar Strand when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 30 minutes into the match, Kringlen IF's goal looked a bit too open when Olav Dalene came free, but Ingvar Strand reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Jon-Erik Torp managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nautsund BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Jon-Erik Torp was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ingvar Strand breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
