Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Viker BK's Cai Sønsteby started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th play minute Oddbjørn Persson came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jørgen Lohne. 1-0. Bjørnar Kleveland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jørgen Lohne having to interfere. 16 minutes into the game, Viker BK's Iver Nøkleby nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Morten Benjaminsen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 20th minute, Cai Sønsteby ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Morten Benjaminsen was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. In the 25th minute, Edgard Møgster hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Gulsvik IF's Bjørnar Kleveland in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Viker BK's goalie prevented a goal. In the 29th minute, Oddbjørn Persson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gulsvik IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. A collision led to Viker BK getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Kim Johanson hit a great ball. Oddbjørn Persson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Bjørnar Kleveland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

In the 53rd minute of the match Gulsvik IF got a corner. Viker BK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Frode Arvesen ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Christian Bjørnø heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Morten Benjaminsen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cai Sønsteby, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Oddbjørn Persson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 59 minutes into the match, Bjørnar Kleveland had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jørgen Lohne. Viker BK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bjørnar Kleveland was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Oddbjørn Persson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gulsvik IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Oddbjørn Persson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jørgen Lohne breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 66 minutes into the game, Christer Fløysvik was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Viker BK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gulsvik IF the free kick. In the 67th minute, Christer Fløysvik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jørgen Lohne showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oddbjørn Persson in the 69th minute of the match. If Oddbjørn Persson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kim Johanson kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. 77 minutes into the match, Oddbjørn Persson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jørgen Lohne. Viker BK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Oddbjørn Persson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. Kim Johanson kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Jørgen Lohne showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tormod Lund in the 85th minute of the match. After 87 played minutes, Gulsvik IF's Frode Arvesen shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jørgen Lohne came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Gulsvik IF reached it. Oddbjørn Persson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jørgen Lohne having to interfere. Oddbjørn Persson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Jørgen Lohne tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Gulsvik IF fully deserved thier win.
