Espen Nordeng made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 44th minute, Marius Osmundsen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jaatta fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Albert Bratlie made a kick off. If Albert Bratlie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Espen Nordeng made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marius Osmundsen in the 59th minute. Albert Bratlie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Espen Nordeng tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Jaatta's Sigurd Brunstad got a free kick in the 95th minute. Sigve Holmefjord showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oddbjørn Dalen, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. When the final whistle sounded Jaatta left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Grøsland BK.
