Aal Blackhawks's Fridtjof Kirkhus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dag Konradsen in the 10th minute of play. Fridtjof Kirkhus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julius Gjøen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 13 minutes into the game, Hans-Martin Storebø was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Aal Blackhawks's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bentsnes FF the free kick. The supporters of Bentsnes FF booed when Aal Blackhawks was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hans-Martin Storebø didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fridtjof Kirkhus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julius Gjøen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fridtjof Kirkhus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Even Schanche, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Øystein Broch charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Øystein Broch the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 21st match minute, Aal Blackhawks was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Øystein Broch to maneuver through the defense. Through an outstanding action, after 25 minutes, Daniel Ravn successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Steffen Pilskog sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Christer Bashir blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Daniel Ravn having to make a save. In the 32nd minute, Frode Bjørk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fridtjof Kirkhus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Even Schanche, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 43 played minutes Bentsnes FF got a freekick which was hit by Frode Bjørk. Fridtjof Kirkhus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dag Konradsen in the 46th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When Aal Blackhawks's Steffen Pilskog in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bentsnes FF's goalie prevented a goal. Geir Rolfsen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Ravn having to interfere. After 62 played minutes Aal Blackhawks got a freekick which was hit by Geir Rolfsen. In the 68th minute, Geir Rolfsen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Steffen Pilskog came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Aal Blackhawks fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Steffen Pilskog couldn't finish the play. Daniel Ravn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Steffen Pilskog in the 79th minute of play. Bentsnes FF's Daniel Ravn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Steffen Pilskog in the 81st minute of play. Geir Rolfsen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Daniel Ravn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Steffen Pilskog struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Daniel Ravn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aal Blackhawks. If Joel Hök had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 93 minutes into the match, Bentsnes FF's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Hök came free, but Daniel Ravn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
