Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Gard Neverdal made the kick off and thus started the match. 3 minutes into the match, Gullhaug FK's goalkeeper Edvin Løvold had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hans-Kristian Walderhaug. Kristian Stray fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arild Kvalsvik having to interfere. If Kenneth Angelsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some careless play in the Taco Gjengen defense, Øyvind Hesjedal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arild Kvalsvik. The Taco Gjengen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arild Kvalsvik should have stopped the shot. Øyvind Hesjedal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 14th minute Eilif Aase shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arild Kvalsvik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, Gullhaug FK's Kenneth Angelsen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arild Kvalsvik narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 19 minutes into the game, Gard Neverdal recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Edvin Løvold. Gard Neverdal showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Hans-Kristian Walderhaug came free with the goalkeeper in the 24th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Edvin Løvold could save by the left post. Arild Kvalsvik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kenneth Angelsen in the 29th minute of play. In the 34th minute, Kenneth Angelsen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kenneth Angelsen scored 1-2 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arild Kvalsvik, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 43 minutes into the game, Taco Gjengen's Hans-Kristian Walderhaug nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edvin Løvold made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Øyvind Hesjedal took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arild Kvalsvik. Arild Kvalsvik dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3.
Øyvind Hesjedal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Kristian Stray, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 62 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Arild Kvalsvik was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 64th minute, Gullhaug FK's Sverre Albertsen ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Arild Kvalsvik. Arild Kvalsvik yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-4. With his leg Arild Kvalsvik managed to avoid a goal in the 69thth minute, when Gullhaug FK's Sverre Albertsen fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 70 minutes into the match, Gullhaug FK's goal looked a bit too open when Vidar Brunstad came free, but Edvin Løvold reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Kenneth Angelsen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gullhaug FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Kenneth Angelsen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arild Kvalsvik breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Sverre Albertsen came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Gullhaug FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sverre Albertsen couldn't finish the play. After 75 played minutes Taco Gjengen got a freekick which was hit by Svend Tonheim. When Kenneth Angelsen came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Gullhaug FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kenneth Angelsen couldn't finish the play. When Peder Olsen fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Taco Gjengen's protests and gave Peder Olsen a yellow card for diving instead. Øyvind Hesjedal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Arild Kvalsvik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kenneth Angelsen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Øyvind Hesjedal struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Arild Kvalsvik didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gullhaug FK. Taco Gjengen's Arild Kvalsvik proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Taco Gjengen from getting a goal against them. In the 90th minute Gard Neverdal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edvin Løvold saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 93rd minute Hans-Kristian Walderhaug shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edvin Løvold saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 96th minute Øyvind Hesjedal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arild Kvalsvik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gullhaug FK played a much better game than Taco Gjengen and deserved their victory. The Taco Gjengen players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
