Tage Skeie was left in no man's land by his defense there! Aksel Vatne showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgard Gustad in the 12th minute of the match. Hugo Thingstad's late challenge caught a Jordal IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hugo Thingstad helped the player get up and apologised. Hugo Thingstad hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Edgard Gustad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tage Skeie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hugo Thingstad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edgard Gustad received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Aksel Vatne came out and tried to block the shot, but Edgard Gustad slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 23rd minute. Tage Skeie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hugo Thingstad in the 29th minute of the match. In the 32nd minute of the match Henning Fedje sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tage Skeie skillfully saved the ball. In the 34th minute of the match Verner Ribe sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tage Skeie skillfully saved the ball. When Edgard Gustad in the 37th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Aksel Vatne kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 2-1 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. Hugo Thingstad's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tage Skeie read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 43rd minute by Edgard Gustad got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Edgard Gustad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edgard Gustad to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgard Gustad in the 51st minute of play forced Jensvoll IF's goalkeeper Aksel Vatne to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aksel Vatne showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgard Gustad in the 54th minute of the match. In the 55th minute, Bendik Eikrem hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Hugo Thingstad came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Jensvoll IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hugo Thingstad couldn't finish the play. After 62 played minutes Jensvoll IF got a freekick which was hit by Ståle Vestbø. An unexpectedly hard shot by Espen Stavnes in the 65th minute of play forced Jensvoll IF's goalkeeper Aksel Vatne to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jordal IF's Tage Skeie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hugo Thingstad in the 67th minute of play. In the 68th minute, Børge Næs hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tobias Stang hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Verner Ribe struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Tage Skeie didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jensvoll IF. Børge Næs charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Børge Næs the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Jensvoll IF booed when Jordal IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Børge Næs didn't get a good kick on the ball. 74 minutes into the match, Jensvoll IF's Hugo Thingstad sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tage Skeie narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tage Skeie made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Ivar Zahl sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Jensvoll IF's Hugo Thingstad slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tage Skeie. That made the score 2-2 after 82 minutes of play. Aksel Vatne made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgard Gustad in the 96th minute of play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
