Tim Kringstad kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Otto Halle's late challenge caught a FC Plankehaugen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Otto Halle helped the player get up and apologised. In the 8th minute, Otto Halle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mathias Dreyer in the 11th minute of play forced Lørenskog FK's goalkeeper Christoffer Hojem to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Hans-Erik Hegg managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Plankehaugen's supporters rose to their feet, but Hans-Erik Hegg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christoffer Hojem breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nils-Christian Garnes's late challenge caught a FC Plankehaugen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nils-Christian Garnes helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Lørenskog FK getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Nils-Christian Garnes hit a great ball. 17 minutes into the game, Nils-Christian Garnes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Leif Sagstuen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Hans Kallestad came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the FC Plankehaugen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hans Kallestad couldn't finish the play. Mathias Dreyer scored 1-2 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Christoffer Hojem, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hans Kallestad in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Christoffer Hojem saved Lørenskog FK from getting behind. In the 27th match minute, Lørenskog FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nils-Christian Garnes to maneuver through the defense. Christoffer Hojem didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mathias Dreyer went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Christoffer Hojem showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hans Kallestad in the 35th minute of the match. 37 minutes into the match, FC Plankehaugen's goalkeeper Leif Sagstuen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nils-Christian Garnes. If Stian Gjesdal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Stian Gjesdal to make the kick off. If Stian Gjesdal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Lørenskog FK's Christoffer Hojem got control of the ball when Mathias Dreyer tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hans-Erik Hegg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Christoffer Hojem having to make a save. Christoffer Hojem stood somewhat misplaced when Stian Gjesdal came free in front of goal and shot 1-4 to the left of him in the 60 minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hans Kallestad got free with Christoffer Hojem in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Tim Kringstad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hans Kallestad could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Christoffer Hojem made a huge save. Hans Kallestads short, quick shot in the 72ndth minute got Christoffer Hojem to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Otto Halle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Leif Sagstuen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hans-Erik Hegg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mathias Dreyer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christoffer Hojem having to interfere. Leif Sagstuen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frode Nese in the 79th minute of the match. In the 81st minute, Hans-Erik Hegg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 83rd minute of the match Bjarte Clausen sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Leif Sagstuen skillfully saved the ball. Lørenskog FK's Christoffer Hojem proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Lørenskog FK from getting a goal against them. The supporters of FC Plankehaugen booed when Lørenskog FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Otto Halle didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cai Vestnes charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cai Vestnes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee gave FC Plankehaugen a penalty, 88 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Stian Gjesdal, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Lørenskog FK's Christoffer Hojem. 1-5. In the 97th minute Hans Kallestad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christoffer Hojem saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nils-Christian Garnes hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. When the match was over FC Plankehaugen could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Lørenskog FK throughout the match.
