Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tim Kringstad took the kick off in the first half of the match. Frode Nese recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Oddbjørn Børseth made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Frode Nese sent off a good shot on target. When Lørenskog FK's Tim Kringstad in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Finnen IF's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Finnen IF's zone, Frode Nese stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oddbjørn Børseth came out of the goal and Frode Nese tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Tim Kringstad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Finnen IF getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Niklas Tjøsvoll hit a great ball. Oddbjørn Børseth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tim Kringstad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Tim Kringstad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nils-Christian Garnes kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. A collision led to Lørenskog FK getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Otto Halle hit a great ball. Finnen IF's Jostein Baardsen got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 40th minute, Christer Lam got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 42 minutes into the game, Jostein Baardsen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Christoffer Hojem was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tim Kringstad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oddbjørn Børseth having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jostein Baardsen to make the kick off. In the 55th minute, Tim Kringstad got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 56th minute, Kristen Kraft hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Oddbjørn Børseth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frode Nese in the 58th minute of the match. Christoffer Hojem made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jostein Baardsen in the 60th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tim Kringstad in the 66th minute of play forced Finnen IF's goalkeeper Oddbjørn Børseth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 71st match minute, Finnen IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hugo Bostad to maneuver through the defense. In the 73rd minute, Niklas Tjøsvoll hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 75 minutes into the game, Nils-Christian Garnes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lørenskog FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Finnen IF the free kick. A collision led to Lørenskog FK getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Nils-Christian Garnes hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tim Kringstad in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Oddbjørn Børseth prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Frode Nese struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Oddbjørn Børseth didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lørenskog FK. After 83 minutes, Ferdinand Skretteberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lørenskog FK and the Finnen IF players grew even worse after the yellow card. Otto Halle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oddbjørn Børseth having to interfere. With a little luck, Lørenskog FK's Christoffer Hojem got control of the ball when Christer Lam tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Tim Kringstad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Lørenskog FK supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Finnen IF's performance. The match ended with a win for Finnen IF.
