Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Thomas Haver made the kick off and thus started the match. 3 minutes into the game, Jan-Arne Anderssen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sagfjord IL's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hoven FF the free kick. Jan-Arne Anderssen hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Odin Sæthre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from André Cabral, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. If André Cabral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Sagfjord IL's zone, Tomás Sousa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Odin Sæthre came out of the goal and Tomás Sousa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Odin Sæthre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from André Cabral in the 10th minute of play. André Cabral recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Sagfjord IL booed when Hoven FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kristian Klungland didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kristian Klungland's late challenge caught a Sagfjord IL's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kristian Klungland helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Hoven FF's Kristian Klungland got a free kick in the 19th minute. Thomas Haver fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erik Pollestad having to interfere. Tomás Sousa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Odin Sæthre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. André Cabral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by André Cabral in the 33rd minute of play forced Sagfjord IL's goalkeeper Odin Sæthre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. André Cabral struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Odin Sæthre didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hoven FF. In the 43rdth minute of the game André Cabral who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sagfjord IL's Odin Sæthre was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tomás Sousa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Odin Sæthre made a huge save. André Cabral recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell André Cabral to make the kick off. In the 59th minute André Cabral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Odin Sæthre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. André Cabral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Hoven FF booed when Sagfjord IL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Birk Noreng didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomás Sousa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Trond Havik fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sagfjord IL's protests and gave Trond Havik a yellow card for diving instead. Trond Havik hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Tomás Sousa might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Odin Sæthre. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomás Sousa ran back to his position shaking his head. André Cabral recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 83 minutes into the match, Sagfjord IL's goal looked a bit too open when Tomás Sousa came free, but Odin Sæthre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 84 minutes, André Cabral made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Sagfjord IL's Odin Sæthre tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If André Cabral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hoven FF's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
