Odin Herland received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Max Rønhovde tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Max Rønhovde took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan-Ivar Engen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kim-André Vistnes struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Max Rønhovde didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Flogo FC. If Jan-Ivar Engen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Flogo FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Kåre Krogh 16 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. In the 19th minute Kim-André Vistnes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Max Rønhovde saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Jan-Ivar Engen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Flogo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jan-Ivar Engen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Max Rønhovde breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 23rd minute, Kim-André Vistnes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Flogo FC booed when Skårvik IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Theodor Haveland didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 27th minute of the match Runar Herdlevær sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Max Rønhovde skillfully saved the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Jan-Ivar Engen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Flogo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jan-Ivar Engen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Max Rønhovde breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 35th minute of the match Tor-Egil Bakken shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Max Rønhovde showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 36th minute, Nils-Christian Haugom hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kåre Krogh to make the kick off. Kim-André Vistnes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Max Rønhovde having to make a save. When Flogo FC's Kim-André Vistnes in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Skårvik IF's goalie prevented a goal. The audience was convinced that Kim-André Vistnes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Max Rønhovde was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. Kim-André Vistnes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 76 played minutes Skårvik IF got a freekick which was hit by Theodor Haveland. In the 77th minute, Skårvik IF's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Kim-André Vistnes fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. A collision led to Skårvik IF getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Theodor Haveland hit a great ball. Theodor Haveland sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 82 played minutes Skårvik IF got a freekick which was hit by Nils-Christian Haugom. Jan-Ivar Engen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Max Rønhovde having to make a save. With a little luck, Skårvik IF's Max Rønhovde got control of the ball when Jan-Ivar Engen tried to sneak it across the goal line. Skårvik IF's Max Rønhovde proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Skårvik IF from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the Skårvik IF defense, Kim-André Vistnes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Max Rønhovde. The Skårvik IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Max Rønhovde should have stopped the shot. In the 97th minute Kåre Krogh shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carl Kleppe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
