Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The audience thought a goal was coming when Marius Åsland got free with Kenneth Fjørtoft in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marius Åsland could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Kenneth Fjørtoft made a huge save. After 9 minutes, Nikolai Bakker mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gjelbakken and the Mjeldo players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Gjelbakken's Nikolai Bakker got a free kick in the 10th minute. Jan Lindstad kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. It was beautiful to see Mjeldo's Lars Myrvoll in action when he in the 14th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! In the 16th minute Helge Kilen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kenneth Fjørtoft saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 19 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Ingar Vatn sped through Gjelbakken's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mats Finne. In the 22nd minute, Helge Kilen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 23 minutes into the game, Ingvar Stenseth was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gjelbakken's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mjeldo the free kick. A collision led to Gjelbakken getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Ingvar Stenseth hit a great ball. If Ingar Vatn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mats Finne showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sondre Espedal in the 27th minute of the match. Mats Finne took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sondre Espedal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Helge Kilen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gjelbakken's goalkeeper Mats Finne, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mats Finne showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sondre Espedal, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. 47 minutes into the match, Gjelbakken's goal looked a bit too open when Sondre Espedal came free, but Mats Finne reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sondre Espedal was the one to do the kick off. Mats Finne showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sondre Espedal, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. A collision led to Mjeldo getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Roger Trondsen hit a great ball. In the 56th minute of the match Erland Moe shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kenneth Fjørtoft showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Mjeldo defense, Ingvar Stenseth kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kenneth Fjørtoft. The Mjeldo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kenneth Fjørtoft should have stopped the shot. Sondre Espedal was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 72nd minute. Mjeldo's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Helge Kilen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gjelbakken's Marius Åsland got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Gjelbakken's Erland Moe got a free kick in the 83rd minute. In the 85th minute, Lars Myrvoll sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Gjelbakken's Mats Finne didn't even have to move. Steffen Gunnarsen kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Chants of Mjeldo echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Gjelbakken had held the ball for most of the match.
