Jon-Egil Torkildsen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 2nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hans-Petter Antonsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Svend Solsvik in the 6th minute of play. Hans-Petter Antonsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Trym Bryne in the 7th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jon-Egil Torkildsen in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Konrad Øvsthus saved Landås IF from getting behind. 12 minutes into the match, Skagnes's goal looked a bit too open when Svend Solsvik came free, but Hans-Petter Antonsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jon-Egil Torkildsen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Konrad Øvsthus having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Skagnes's zone, Mads Aakvik stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hans-Petter Antonsen came out of the goal and Mads Aakvik tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bjørn Harnes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 29 minutes, Jon-Egil Torkildsen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Skagnes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jon-Egil Torkildsen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With 34 minutes on the clock, Martin Forseth commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Skagnes fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 34th minute. Penalty! When Bjørn Harnes came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Skagnes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bjørn Harnes couldn't finish the play. Konrad Øvsthus made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bjørn Harnes in the 45th minute. Andreas Torheim who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 46thth minute tested the skills of Konrad Øvsthus when he managed to save the team from getting behind.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bjørn Harnes made a kick off. Konrad Øvsthus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bjørn Harnes in the 53rd minute of play. Konrad Øvsthus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bjørn Harnes in the 55th minute of the match. Konrad Øvsthus was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hans-Petter Antonsen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Trym Bryne, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Marius Strand charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marius Strand the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Landås IF's Marius Strand got a free kick in the 66th minute. Landås IF's Konrad Øvsthus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bjørn Harnes in the 67th minute of play. Konrad Øvsthus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andreas Torheim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 77 minutes into the match, Bjørn Harnes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Konrad Øvsthus. Landås IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bjørn Harnes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Bjørn Harnes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bjørn Harnes in the 84th minute of play forced Landås IF's goalkeeper Konrad Øvsthus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 86th minute Bjørn Harnes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Konrad Øvsthus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 87 played minutes Landås IF got a freekick which was hit by Simen Rønningen. Bjørn Harnes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Konrad Øvsthus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
