Bompi Bjørnene's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jørgen Evenrud was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 76 minutes into the game, Jørgen Evenrud cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Aslak Frøyen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 80 minutes, Ove Bu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Avtret IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ove Bu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 82nd minute, Fredrik Furuli got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 88th minute of the match, Jørgen Evenrud got a very nice opportunity to score, but Aslak Frøyen was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Jesper Tømte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Avtret IF's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
