Fredrik Furuli's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tor-Henrik Ingvaldsen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. Erik Grindhaug sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 9th minute Jonathan Ngo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aslak Frøyen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 19 minutes, Jonathan Ngo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kjeldås IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonathan Ngo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Erik Grindhaug fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aslak Frøyen having to interfere. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jonathan Ngo to strike the kick off in the second half. Fredrik Furuli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 63 minutes into the match, Kjeldås IF's Jonathan Ngo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aslak Frøyen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Erik Grindhaug received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Aslak Frøyen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonathan Ngo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 71 minutes into the match, Avtret IF's goalkeeper Aslak Frøyen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Erik Grindhaug. If Fredrik Furuli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fredrik Furuli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Jonathan Ngo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kjeldås IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonathan Ngo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aslak Frøyen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Steinar Eilertsen charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Steinar Eilertsen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Avtret IF's Aslak Frøyen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonathan Ngo in the 95th minute of play. Tor-Henrik Ingvaldsen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fredrik Furuli's shot from short distance in the 97th minute. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
